"Members' Night"
8 sheets or 50p
There was a very small pile of 50p coins on the table at The Lanarkshire Philatelic Society on Friday(24th) as most members had opted to give an 8 sheet display rather than be fined 50p!
The displays also showed how wonderfully diverse members interests are. The displays were of stamps, covers, overprints, postcards, postmarks and cachets: -

Anne Holmes, President, led members in a warm Vote of Thanks given to all who had displayed with such a wonderful variety of themes.
This meeting concludes the session of 2014-2015. We shall resume on Friday, 4th September, 2015 in the Caledonian Bowling Club, Motherwell Road, Hamilton at 7:30pm.
We will welcome anyone who has an interest in stamps, postal history or postcards.
